Hello, Friends!

My family and I use essential oils all the time (they’re essential!😂). If it’s peppermint for brushing our teeth, orange for diffusing, or cedarwood to help us sleep, we’re always using them.

My Mom has been gradually switching us to as many natural products as possible, so we get new oils, cleaners, soaps, and shampoos from Young Living™ each month. We’re not sales people, not at all, but we like to share about them for people who might need them, so I thought I’d share them with you!

We believe in natural remedies, and essential oils have been around, well, since the beginning of time! People used them, the oils, straight from plants.

Thieves, Young Living’s medley of certain oils, is our most used, most loved (probably😜) of them all. It is a great smell: cinnamon, nutmeg, Christmassy smells! My Mom recently rubbed it on me (with a carrier oil–grape seed–since it’s so powerful) when I had a sore throat/cough. My sore throat was gone in about an hour. Young Living has turned it into a lot of different formats, such as hand sanitizer, cough drops, laundry detergent, cleaners, soaps (some of my Mom’s favorites) and they all work quite well and they aren’t poisonous or chemically- laden (Thank goodness!).

Young Living also has a line of makeup products called Savvy Minerals, all completely natural and healthy, using oils from plants and other healthy and natural substances like Mica, Iron and Kaolin clay. I am just starting out with some makeup from Savvy Minerals. I have been using their lipsticks, blushes, and glosses, and have been rather impressed with the outcome. They have SO much more than that, though, from contour to eyeshadow palettes to mascara to everything in between. They even have high quality brushes to apply everything. (And not terrible prices for organic makeup either!)

 

They also have almost any oil you want. I could list them, but that would take, well, it’d take weeks! Haha. Click here to see them. You can search up uses for each oil on Google, and find many videos and tutorials.

We have a little jar of oils by our Berkey water filter/dispenser to put in our water. Lemon, lime, grapefruit- -it’s fun to decorate water with citrus and other oils. I’ve even put Thieves (remember the cinnamon!) in my water and drank it when my brother had a stomach bug to keep it away. It did!

 

There are certain oils that can help babies, and are diluted for their gentle skin, their Seedlings line, is one we like. They have wipes and lotions and creams to keep babies happy and healthy.

They also have a line for kids, called KidScents. Shampoo and conditioners, vitamins, probiotics, toothpaste, lots of different things. I take the probiotics pouches daily. If you’ve ever had Fun-Dip or Pixie Stix, you can hardly tell the difference between those and the probiotic pouches. So yummy!

 

They even have an animal line called Animal Scents (creative name, right?😂). We haven’t tried them for Maisy, but I would like to. They have treats, shampoo, ointments and dental chews. They have certain oils for them, too. Calming oils, flea remedies, etc.
