Springtime // Things I Am Loving

Hello Friends!

It’s funny. When you leave something for a little bit it feels like you must go back to it! Habits are a good thing, and blogging has become one over the past year and a half. I missed it, and you all as well!

I am enjoying many different things as of now, and I wanted to share them with you. I love learning what people’s favorites are.

Let’s get on with it!

1. SCRUNCHIES

Oooh. I love scrunchies! My hair is pretty thick, and I never thought they would hold my hair. They do, though, so yay! My sweet Aunt sewed me some for my birthday about two years ago, and I LOVE them. I wear one on my arm all the time, and usually one’s in my hair. They’re super cute and (all of a sudden) really popular right now. I know that most places sell them. I really like the satin ones out there. There are so many different styles of them!

2. FLORAL PATTERNS

I have been attracted to floral lately, and I love it. I really love knee-length floral dresses as well. It’s a good time of year for it, too!

3. MAXI/LONG DRESSES

I really like long dresses near this warmer time of year. The maxi dresses are fun, too!

They’re not extremely practical for me day-to-day, but I love wearing them to church and events.

4. PASTEL POLISH

I have brought out my sandals now (although that gives my feet more of a chance for poison ivy😳) and I also pulled out my nail polish. I really am liking this dusty blue color for spring.

5. COLORFUL EARRINGS

I really like colorful earring to make a pop with an outfit. This dusty blue/blue-green color must also be one of my favorites. It’s in all the pictures!😝

6. HEADSCARFS

I have seen lots of pictures of these (especially in aesthetics. see here) headscarfs, and when we went to one of our local thrift stores and I found a blue scarf, and later some more. they’re fun on buns, braids, and i’ve worn them over my head (like in the 50’s) before.

Some other things I’m enjoying right now is playing my ukulele, running and walking, painting with watercolor, sketching things, and whistling. (I whistle all. the. time. s o r r y m o m m y((; )
