Hi!!!!!
Are all of you well this fine day?
Valentine’s Day is coming up soon! I always like making little Valentine’s around this time every year, and this year I wanted to show y’all how I do them! Let’s get right in to it.
So first, grab some scrapbook paper of your choice. (one big sheet is enough unless you’ll be switching) I chose pink and, later, one with hearts. (look at that funny little sun ray/spot on the paper😚)
Then fold it in half. (any way)
Then draw half on a heart right on the crease. (this helps to get the perfect shape)
Voila! Smooth it out straight and flat.
Then make 2-3 more. Leave the first flat, the second one half-folded, and the third mostly-folded.
Then I got out our ancient hot glue gun😄 You can use a glue stick or the like, but I always find hot glue works best.
While I waited for it to heat, I got out my card I was going to use.
Then I glued the half folded heart to the flat one.
Then add the mostly folded to the bunch. You can make it as big, add as many layers and colors as you want, but I only did three for now.
Then add your little heart cluster in one of the upper areas. (or lower. There are going to be words) I put mine in the mid-upper right.
Then sketch out the words you want and the basket. (It’s a hot air balloon😄)
Voila! I used my Tombow Fudenosuke hard tip for the words and clouds. (Although I used no pressure on the clouds; they were just sketchy lines.)
Then I got out a different sheet of scrapbook paper for the next one!
I got three puzzle pieces for this next one that says “I love you to pieces” I thought this saying was really cute, so i’m a’ gonna use ‘er!
Then flip your scrapbook paper over and trace and cut them out.
Then put a little dab of hot glue on the backs. Stick them towards the top, but not all the way up. More upper-middle. (Is that a thing?😁)
I forgot to take a picture of me doing this, but there! It’s finished! I just wrote it down using my Tombow Fude hard tip. (And AUGH! Points off for blurriness!)
Well, I hope you enjoyed this short DIY On Valentine’s Cards! Thank you so much for reading, friends!
ALSO: Big thanks for 25 Followers, you guys! Thank you so much!
