Just a heads up, all of the Brush Lettering things I post will be on my brush lettering page(:
Hey everyone!
How are you?
Today I will be showing how to Brush Letter “A”
I will be doing tutorials from A-Z. I hope you enjoy!
To start, practice warm-ups (here) and write with the pen parallel to the paper. Pleas don’t hold the pen on the point! It will damage your Brush Pen. (fray it)
Once you’ve done your hand warm-ups and have practiced, you’re ready to go!
SCRIPT
The “a” is fairly easy. It consists of and “O” with a tail. (as shown) *Remember: hold pen parallel!* I like to practice a a lot, because it helps prepare for harder letters.
Easy, right?
It might take a few tries before you get it, but you will!
BLOCK
Yay! I love block letters(:
Do these again.
Once you’ve done your hand warm-ups and have practiced, you’re ready to go!
The Block letter “A” is, as I think of it, an upside down “U”. I usually put my bar in the lower part, but you could do it high, low, or middle!
Pretty easy. Easy than the script “A”, I think.
And again, “If at first you don’t succeed, try, try again!” Or, just try again.😄
Thank you for reading! Happy lettering!
Bye!
