Some different things

Hello there! How is everybody? Well, today is Saturday, the day that is (supposed to be) Art Day, but I haven’t been doing any Art this past week, (we’ve been quite a busy family) So I just have some random photos to share! I hope you like it!

I’ve been noticing a lot of spring coming onto our road, and I noticed that these clovers were very green. I was using my new Lens (read about it HERE) to get a close-up.

Here are some more. (:

Here are some photos of our extremely curious three chickens, Skeeter, (red) Abeline, (dark Grey) and Minnie (light Grey). They were curious to see what I was doing. (:

Don’t you just love moss? I think it’s rather ‘purty.

This is definitely random! This is the old plow we have, I thought it looked cool.

We’ve had so much rain this month, so our creek activated! (if you want to see more about that, click HERE) I went back there today, the sun was finally breaking through the clouds, so it was perfect lighting for the creek! We have many ferns growing throughout our woods. These happened to be in the creek.

It has gotten quite a bit shallow since my last post, sadly. I like it!

We have tons of briars along the creek, quite painful ones at that… (:

YAY! I love this picture! This is a fern, with a spiderweb, with water on it! ♥

I Love this one, too! This is just a spiderweb. I love the water droplets.

The sun’s reflection. (:

I don’t know if you can see this that well, but this is a Robin washing it’s self in the creek across the fence.

There he (or she) is after it’s bath. If you zoom in, you can see how wet it is!

This is the path up to where the large pool of water sometimes is. (you can also find that HERE)

You can definitely tell there was water here. I will say, as fun as it is to walk in the pool, It really helps growth when it’s gone. There’s a ton of new grass where the water was. We’re going to scatter (or plant) wildflower seeds back here. Oh, I can’t wait until they bloom! (Hopefully) It will be like walking through a sea of flowers. But we probably need to do it, first. ((:

I had thought I heard a woodpecker when I was walking around, and, sure enough, this little guy was pecking away above my head!

You can see the new grass growing here.

We have a lot of sprouts coming up all around our house. It’s so fun to see everything start growing!

We’ve also had quite a few critters roaming around the woods.

This looks like a raccoon or something like that. I guess they come from deep in the woods to get water. We hear Coyotes right outside our windows most every night. It’s really eerie to hear. I didn’t see any dog-like tracks, though, so they must not come through our part of the woods much.

Deer tracks. We see quite a few deer around our home.

I love seeing all of the buds and new growth! This is off of some young trees in our backyard.

This is the deepest part of our creek. I thought it was pretty with the leaves.

Thank you so much for reading! I hope you enjoyed seeing the latest photos i’ve taken! New posts soon! ~theJunebugblog

Woods, Rain and The Moon

Woods, Rain and the Moon.png

Hello there! We’ve had lots and lots of rain latley, and there was a full Moon about a week ago, and I have pictures of all of it(: Enjoy!

This is kind-of a strange way to start a post, but it’s a mossy tree stump by the creek(:

The creek. this is my favorite place to take pictures – especially when the water’s running.  This was the water going under the fallen tree.

There’s a very large tree right a the main part of the creek and there was a little waterfall (above) going over the stump. It sounded so pretty! comment below if you love the sound of a babbling brook, too!

More trickling water.

The water isn’t all that clear, but isn’t this pretty? I love the reflections. I was actually in the creek. Probably not the best thing to do when recovering from the Flu, but it was fun(:

I thought this was cool. My reflection in the water.

This was a random photo I got through the trees on Manual mode. (Bokeh!)

I love this photo. The ferns Flowing through the stream, the cool water, I don’t know. But I do know it looks peaceful!

My brother, the whole three hours we were out there he was trying to build a dam. You can see that… I think he was trying to make a dam and then clean out around it, then knock it down. It didn’t really end up working. (:

This is one of the main parts of the water, The main part where it flows. It’s actually raining right now, so you might see another one of these posts soon!

This is that stump again. I just love that it’s a teeny waterfall.

This is another waterfall area. It’s really pretty to listen to.

This is a little mossy place next to a big pool of water (next photo). I loved the little mushrooms and moss.

This is the big pool of water. As you can see, my shadow is small compared to it, and it’s about a foot and a half of water in the deepest part. It’s fun to walk through. (well, in the winter, in rain boots(: )

I was stepping through it here. It’s like a miniature lake!

This is the deepest part of the pool. I think, (all of these photos were taken yesterday) that the creek and pool of water are probably huge now because it’s poring rain. Yay! more photos to come. (most likely)

I love the reflections in the water of the trees. (whoa) We have an interesting area: A Farmhouse in the middle of a field in front of some woods, by a lake(; haha!

We have a small swing in the woods. (not a extremely safe one, though) we enjoy riding on it at times.

Hehe. I was on it(;

Now,  the Moon.

We had a full Moon on the 31st as you probably know, and I was really excited to get some pictures of it!

I hope you enjoyed this post! Thank you for reading! If you want to check out my most recent Art Day post, click HERE. Bye!

Art Day #9

Hello there! How is everyone today? Sorry i haven’t posted in a while, or made a Art day post in a while, Me and my Mom have had the Flu): But, luckily we’re better now. (Everyone: WASH YOUR HANDS! Use hand sanitizer! The Flu is awful.) Okay! Well, I was pulling out my watercolors yesterday and I never really know what to do with watercolor, because I’m still learning all of the techniques you need to know, but yesterday I was reminded of Rosemary because of our rosemary hand soap. I know, kind-of strange, but I was, and I thought I might give watercolor painting Rosemary a try! And, then I started going into painting all kinds of Fruits and Veggies and Herbs. Enjoy!

Okay. This is the first one I painted. The Rosemary. It doesn’t 100% look just like rosemary, but I like how simple it is. I decided it needed a little somthin’ somthin’ so I added it’s name at the bottom.

Then came Lavender. I can’t tell you how many times I painted this! (well, actually I can, It was 6 times😁) It wasn’t that I couldn’t get the painting right, I kept spelling it l-a-v-e-n-d-A-r, Instead of l-a-v-e-n-d-E-r. But I finally got it(:

I Love the Radish’s. (I painted two) I don’t know why. The other one is my favorite one, though. (Below)

(Sorry this is a different background, I took the picture of this last night) This is the other radish. I think I like this one more because it’s blended at the bottom of the stalk. Comment below which radish is your favorite!

(This was also last night) This little watermelon took a few tries, too. But I like how this one turned out. (:

This is a little acorn I did. My Mom said I might should do some according to the seasons, so I did an acorn.

Here is a little Lemon and Lime I did. (Sorry it’s a little hard to see) I think the Lemon turned out fine, but I was having a little trouble with blending the Lime…

Yay! Pineapple! I love Pineapple! I was so sad that the “e” got smudged, because this one was my favorite until that happened. But it’s still cute!

This little Cherry, poor little Cherry, all alone); I realized afterwards that cherries normally come in bunches, So I will have to fix that, but this little lone cherry is pretty cute.

Little Mushroom! I like how everything turned out with it. I can never tell if it will turn out or not, but I definitely think this little guy did!

This little Potato didn’t turn out quite right either. I just now realized that it’s one “o” for a singular Potato and it’s Potatoes for multiple. Hehe. Whoops!

A little Bell Pepper.

My Mom eats lots of beets around our house and I thought It would be cute to do one!

A little Vidalia Onion. I don’t know why but I completely changed the complete font than the others only on this onion. hmm…

A Cucumber. A simple little Cucumber.

Well, That’s all I’ve done this week. I hope you enjoyed this post! Bye!
