Art Day

Art Day#8

Hello! Today is Art Day again! I posted twice today. you can check the other post out HERE. Well here it goes!

This is one of my favorite verses, Psalm 104:33.

I like all the verses that have something to do with music. This is Psalm 100:1.

This is also a verse. (Actually, a lot of my Art today is Verses.) It’s a bit hard to tell, but this is Psalms 27:6.

Proverbs 3:5. This is basically just handwriting, But I thought I would put it here anyway.

This is a quote I found online that I thought this would be pretty.

This is Jeremiah 51:15. I used Washi Tape in this one.

I  thought this was pretty. This one is Psalm 118:6.

This is just a little random quote/poem I came up with.

This one Is Luke 1:37. I like this one.

I thought this one is pretty. I found that my Gold Oil pen looks good on the black paper.

I’ve done a painting like this before, But this one was a little different. I added flowers this time.

Well, that’s all I have today. Which was your favorite? Thank you for reading!

5 things to do with Washi Tape

Hello everyone! I’m so excited about this post! (as you can tell, i’m using Canva, upon recommendation I really like it! what do you guys think?) I used to get washing tape for Christmas a few years ago and it would just sit on my desk, and i wouldn’t know what to do with it. It doesn’t really stick as well as Scotch tape, or any clear tape, because it’s a Paper tape. Today, If you’re like i was and don’t know what to do with it, I’ll show you 5 things to do with Washi tape.

Seal letters with it! I Write a lot of letters to Friends, and sometimes just a plain Envelope seems a little boring, so I use Washi Tape! Besides, it adds a little color, and it helps hold your letter in better, so it’s sort of a Win – Win!

You can also use the coloring tape. (Sorry, i’m not quite sure what it’s called, but  you can get it at Target) I used my Gold oil Pen on this one, But if you don’t have anything like that, I would used a sharpie. Some markers and things don’t work.

2.                                                                                                         IMG_5929

Make Cards with it. I found that if you ever run out of postcards, Notecards, or want something different that just paper, Washi Tape Postcards and Notecards are cute, too! I put clear Tape over this to make sure the Washington Tape would stick. But I’m probably not going to do that again because you ca- HAHAHA! I just realized Auto-Correct said “Washington Tape”! I would’ve just erased that, but it was to funny ((: Anyway… As I was saying: Clear Tape sort of (even though it’s clear) It sot of muffled-out the color (Bottom left pink tape)

This is the back of the Postcard. I like how it turned out. (My lines ittle crooked, though.)I’m, pretty soon, Going to try a Notecard or something like that. (The difference in a Post card and A Notecard is that a Postcard is just the front and the back, and you don’t put it in an envelope and a Notecard is Folded and it does go in and envelope.)

3.                                                                                                         IMG_5731

Write names with it. I like to do this and send it to Friends. (this isn’t the way i spell Ally, By the way. That’s as far as I could get with the little piece of paper I had(:  )

4.  IMG_5846.JPG

Underlining with it. I love to use it for Bullet Journaling and such. Instead of I like to underline the upcoming things with it. It’s also fun for Calendars!

This is one of my favorites. Bookmarks! If you read a lot, like I do, you love bookmarks. I was playing around with my Washi tape the other day and came up with this. They’re cute and easy.

I used watercolor paper, so it wouldn’t bend, but you can use construction paper or something like that.

You can cut it into whatever shape you want, but I chose to cut it on the smaller side.

You pick which tape you want. (I guess you could to multiple ones, if you want.)

Here it is!

If you want, when you’re finished with one, you can cut a design.

Here’s some with designs.

I used the Hot-Glue gun to glue on some studs and stuff.

These are all the ones that I made.

I hope you liked this post! Stay tuned for more! Bye!

Art Day is here again!

Well howdy-do! How’s everyone here today? It was really strange, Yesterday it was about 60° and then about 5 o’clock it dropped, drastically, to about 35°. Not just the plain old 35°, the windy kind. It’s still like that now. I don’t hate it, but I’d much rather there to be snow with it!(: comment below if you agree.

well, today is Art day, the Saturday where I post all my recent Art. Here is my Art!

This is one of my recent lip drawings. I like these because they are more at an angle. The shading around them is a little smeary, though, I’ll work on that soon. It’s funny how when you upload a picture you see everything you could update. Haha(;

This is my first (successful) drawing of teeth. I think I like how it turned out. It’s actually trickier than I thought. But that’s what’s fun!

This was a quick eye sketch I did. I think the iris turned out pretty well.

These are just regular lips and the way that sit on a face with no smile or anything. Which lips do you Ike best?

This is another quick little eye drawing. This one looks more like an eye with makeup.

I did this basic little painting of phillipians 4:8 with a floral background(ish).

I took a few photos of the painting process but these two (this one and the one below) are of my brother.

I do believe he was painting a Fox.

I did this watercolor of this bouquet but I thought it needed something, so I added some of the things I like but it seems a wee be odd.

I did this verse in my gold oil pen. This one is now displayed on my bookshelf.

This next thing were some step by step photos I took along the way of this drawing. It didn’t turn out great, but I though since I took the photos, you might like to see!

It starts out as a head shape.

Then I did the outlines and such.

Ha! This looks so funny!
This also looks very funny!
Here I darkend the lips/shaded  them.
I added some little spheres for earrings.
Here I outlined the hair.
here I started shading in the hair.

Violá! Finished! It could be better, but it’s okay for now! That’s it for art day, write y’all soon! Thank you for reading!

~the Junebug blog

which would y’all like to see next? lots of photography, my bedroom tour, or my desk tour? I’ll give y’all 5 Days to decide. It will probably be a Wednesday or Thursday post. Bye!

Oh, dear. What a long one!

Well, Hello there, bloggers!

Did you all have a dandy New Year (five days late)? I did! Well, today I’m posting some photos i’ve taken, Art day, a movie and song(s) recommendation, And, well, that’s it, but it’s still going to be a long one. (don’t be surprised if I throw in some other things, too.) Haha. Well, On with It!

Now first I have something to show you. (!!!)

I Got a new lens for my Camera!!! I’ve been looking at this lens for a while now, and I have been saving for it and I was able to get it! I’ve had the 18-55mm lens since I got my camera a year and a half ago and now this one is 75-300mm. If you are looking for a new canon lens I recommend this one. The only thing about it is that it doesn’t have image stabilization, so you can’t shake, but other than that it’s great!

This was so exciting!

Ah, there I’tis. I thought It was funny that I was photographing a camera lens(:

Well now, these are some photos I took the night I got it. I learned how to take a picture of the moon that day. I love that you can see the craters in it.

I am soon going to get a picture of a full moon! I don’t know when that is, though. let’s see… it says that the 1st of January was the Wolf moon and the 31st is the Snow moon. so I’ve got a while.

This is a little succulent plant we have on the kitchen sink. I thought the lighting at that moment looked very pretty and white.

This was so peppermint Hot Chocolate I made yesterday.

Comment below if you love peppermint. ♥

Maisy. Maisy loves to look out the window. (you can see my reflection)

Oh! she got a haircut. I like her fluffy more, but it was getting a little over-grown…

Look very closely here. There are two eyes and a nose and fluff. Can ye see it? (Heehee)

This is my neighbor’s little puppy Blue. (He lives at the home where we used to live, across the street. you can read about that in about.) I’m pretty sure he’s 6-8 months old. Isn’t he cute?

Look at that face!! he really wanted to play with us.

He’s looking off into the far, blue, distance. (Haha)

Look at his collar! So cute.

This was a very poor drawing of a treble clef, and I can do much better. Hehe. I’ll set a reminder to do a better one next Saturday. But still, I like the tiny notes. colored pencil is a working progress for me. Haha!

This is the most written verse for me. I love how you can do a variety of different lettering. I’m just now realizing it’s crooked. Hmm…

I was testing out a few colors and came out with this. I’m still learning the basics of watercolor still. One day I’ll get it! hehe. I really like it! Does anyone have any recommendations for good watercolors?

This is a little drawing of a violin/Viola that I was playing around with. I like how it turned out. The only thing is, I don’t play Violin/come around them much, so I’m not exactly sure if this looks right. Tell me what you think. (:

Well, I guess that was all the art I had this week. I’m going to start a new schedule where I’m going to draw twice a day every other day so i’ll have more!

Now, Movie and song(s) recommendations. Have any of you seen “the Greatest Showman”?  I believe It came out the 20th of December. We went and saw it last night and we LOVED i highly recommend it. I’ve been listening to the songs all day. It’s about P.T. Barnam and how he started the circus. There’s a lot of awesome dancing  and singing in it. my favorite songs are: “Never Enough”, “This is me”, and “From now on”.

Well, Thank you for reading!
